Residents will be notified in advance of any changes to their pickup schedule as a result of these holidays.
Bulky Waste Pick Up Appointment Service: As part of curbside services, West Sacramento residents are now eligible to (2) bulky waste pick up appointments per year, between July 1 and June 30, for items too large to fit in a curbside cart. Have you used your bulky waste pick up appointments for the year and still have bulky items to dispose of, call the City at (916) 617-4590 and request a landfill voucher for a non-commercial load valued at up to $20 at the Yolo County Central Landfill. Some restrictions apply.
Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) At Your Door Collection Service: Another new residential services includes Waste Managements "at Your Door Special Collection" of HHW. West Sacramento residents are eligible for (2) special collection appointments of HHW per year, between July 1 and June 30. Call Waste Management toll free at (800)449-7587 to schedule an appointment or visit them online at www.wmatyourdoor.com.
Residential curbside services also include garbage, mixed recycling, organics and used motor oil and filter collection. All commodities are collected every week.

Residents may choose from the following size garbage carts: 35 gallon; 64 gallon or 96 gallon. Service fee is based on the size of the cart. Please refer to the fee schedule to determine current service fee. Fee Schedule
Please note, beginning July 1, 2017, residents will call WM directly toll free at (866) 844-1508 for missed service and all other trash and recycling service related needs.
