General Plan Update

The City of West Sacramento is in the initial stages of updating its General Plan.  The General Plan serves as the constitution for development of the community by setting forth a long term plan consisting of a land use diagram, goals and policies.

To assist in our General Plan process the City has hired the firm of Mintier and Associates. The consultant will be assisting the City in developing a work program that will result in the commencement of general plan process later this year.

As one part of the General Plan update work program process, stakeholder interviews to solicit community comments on the update process were held on Tuesday, May 30th and Thursday, June 1st from 1:00-7:00 pm at the West Sacramento Civic Center, Community Development Department office.
