Log Files
The City of West Sacramento will only release information about collected IP addresses and other logged date to any third party as required under the Public Records Act or under Court order. The City archives web server log files in order to create aggregate statistical reports, evaluate use of services, detect errors, and for security reasons. Aggregate reports about web site visitors are generated. These reports do not contain any personally identifiable information. The web log files collected by the City are eventually deleted.

Email Addresses & Personal Information
On certain occasions, we may give you the option to provide your E-mail address and personal information for purposes of correspondence or for City business. The City of West Sacramento will not sell or provide E-mail addresses or your personal information to anyone outside the City of West Sacramento, except as required under the Public Records Act or under Court order. The goal of collecting personal information online is to provide you with the most personalized and effective service possible. By understanding your needs and preferences, the City will be in a better position to provide you with improved service.
