The West Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency (WSAFCA) and the US Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District (USACE SPK) has extended the public review and comment period for the West Sacramento Levee Improvement Program (WSLIP) draft EIS/EIR, to facilitate public participation. The deadline for comments regarding the WSLIP draft EIS/EIR is TODAY, August 2^nd 2010.  The EIR/EIS is available in electronic form ; printed copies are available for public review at City Hall, first floor (Printed copies are also available at the Sacramento Public Library, 828 I St., Sacramento 95814; the Arthur F. Turner Community Library, 1212 Merkley Ave., West Sacramento, CA 95691; and the Solano County Library, 1150 Kentucky St., Fairfield, CA 94533.) Written comments on the EIR/EIS must be received by either the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) or the West Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency (WSAFCA) no later than Aug. 2, 2010.
